The fastest way
Every email we send has a Manage your membership link at the bottom. It opens a private page that shows all the data we hold about you: your name, email, phone, usual shop, your marketing choice and your coupon. On that page you can:
- change your usual shop
- switch the weekly deal emails on or off
- delete your membership and all your data, in one tap
No password and no waiting. The link is private to you, so do not forward the email to anyone.
What you can ask for

| Delete it (erasure) | Remove your membership and coupon from our database and Google Sheet, and confirm when it is done. |
| Pause how we use it (restriction) | Keep your data but stop using it, for example while we look into a complaint. |
| Object, or stop marketing | Stop the use you object to. Marketing stops straight away, always. |
| Withdraw your consent | Stop the weekly deal emails. Anything we sent before stays lawful. |
How to ask
Email hello@worldofspices.ie with the subject Data protection request, or call 01 558 6267. You can also ask at the till in any of our shops and we will take it from there. Please tell us:
- what you would like us to do
- the email address and mobile number you joined with, so we can find your record
You can copy this if it helps:
Subject: Data protection request Hello World of Spices, Please [send me a copy of / correct / delete] the personal data you hold about me. I joined the members' club with: Email: Mobile: Thank you, [your name]
What happens next
- We check it is really you. Usually we just reply to the email address you joined with. We only ask for more if we cannot match you.
- We do what you asked, free of charge.
- We reply within one month. If a request is complex we can take up to two more months, and we tell you within the first month why.
- If we cannot do something, for example because the law says we must keep a record, we explain why and tell you how to complain.
Lost your emails?
No problem. Email hello@worldofspices.ie from the address you joined with, or call us, and we can delete your membership, or send a copy of your data to that email address. For your safety, we never send your details to a different email address.
